No. 53 Aradhana Seth, Documentary filmmaker & designer
This young lady has made over 20 documentary films for TV broadcast in India, USA, UK (BBC) and Europe. One of her documentaries (made with Arundhati Roy, author of „The God of Small Things) is called DAM/AGE which has won her several awards. Another documentary „The Magnificent Ruin“ shows New Delhi as planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens at the beginning of the 20th century and how it is inhabited today.
As production designer Aradhana Seth worked closely with Deepa Mehta on her famous films FIRE and EARTH but her credits include half a dozen other feature films, amongst them GURU and „Everybody says I am fine“. She was art director on the „The Bourne Supremacy“ and „The Darjeeling Limited“ which was running in Vienna´s Art Film Theatres until recently.
Aradhana is a photographer and has taken part in publishing several art books. Last but not least she ist the daughter of the first woman chief justice of India, sister of a famous Indian author and wife of an Austrian diplomat. We are looking forward to meet a member of this extraordinary family.
